Drought Conditions

2015 Version:
This year’s iteration of Drought Conditions features locally picked sage. At 4.0% ABV, this smoked porter packs a pungent strong flavor. Our Head Brewer, Charlie Johnson, teamed up with the Peppermill’s Executive Chef, Mark Lund, and smoked over 165 lbs of American 2-row barley over hickory wood. Brewed for C.A.R.E. Chest of Northern Nevada’s Bacon Bourbon and Brews event, this beer ighlights deep smoke and local ingredients.

2014 Version:
Drought Conditions is a mild porter brewed with 2 row barley, beechwood smoked wheat, chocolate and brown malts; balanced with Saaz hops and a blend of roasted peppers, including pasilla, poblano, jalapeno and serrano. The peppers create a mild heat in the aftertaste. 6.6% ABV

Wolverine Brown Ale

Aggressively hopped with New Zealand hops, this sessionable hoppy brown is for a warm Spring day.

5% ABV, 16oz pour for $6

Storm Shadow Session White IPA

This IPA was brewed with pilsner malt and white wheat, with a generous addition of Bravo and Topaz hops; finished with Citra hops in the serving tank.

3.9% ABV, 16oz pour for $5

Vitis Vinifera

This Saison pours a hazy golden yellow and was brewed with Chenin Blanc grape must, lemon peel and coriander; aged on French white oak.
