RENO, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) — Reno Provisions is hosting a Roving Dinner & Beer Pairing featuring custom brewed local beer, live music — performed by Reno Swing Set — and silent auction April 23 at 6 p.m. The sustainable food eatery will showcase five custom beers created in partnership with The Brewers Cabinet and local restaurants.
The Brewers Cabinet has worked with chefs at five local venues to craft custom beers, which will be served at the event paired with complementary signature bites from each restaurant. The chefs and their custom beers and food pairings are as follows:
- Chef Mark Lund of the Peppermill – Featured pairing of Braised Pork scented with Pink Peppercorn and Dirty Snout Stout White Truffle Imperial Stout
- Chef Brandon Bryan Of Old Granite Street Eatery – Featured pairing of Maple Toffee Blondie and Dark Cellar Spiced Porter
- Chef Ian Madan of South Creek Pizza Co – Featured pairing of Stromboli and Cripple Creek Kiwi Sour Pilsner
- Chef Mark Estee of Campo – Featured pairing of Salumi Platter and Maestro Lambrewsco Syrah Infused Saison.
- Chef Chris Shanks from Louie’s Basque Corner – Featured Pairing of Chorizo Sandwich and Engarde Biere de Garde
Proceeds of the event and silent auction will benefit the Reno Build Project, which provides a financial foundation for start-up businesses.

The Brewer’s Cabinet is taking over South Creek Pizza Co.’s taps, and will be pouring the following:
- Cripple Creek Pils
- Coconut Face Down Brown
- Hop eNVy Fresh Wet Hop IPA
- Creamsicle Saison
- Cask – Lemon Grass Pale Ale
Our first Fall seasonal release, Harvest Saison is an ale brewed with butternut squash, sage and fermented with French saison yeast; it pours a hazy light orange and is 5.5% ABV.
Try Harvest Saison in a 14oz pour for $6 enjoy it on special during happy hour and Kegs & Eggs (Happy Hour: Monday-Friday 4-6pm).
Cam came in with the boys from Sensus and with the help of our brewers created a amazing beer. Dark Golden in color this pilsner rings in at 7.0%, Brewed exclusively with German malt and experimental german hops. Sorry for Partying is light crisp with a amazing melon-esque aftertaste.
SouthCreek Pizza Co. in South Reno is celebrating its First Year Anniversary on Sept. 10, 2014 at 6:30 pm with a Tap Takeover and Pizza Party! Brewer’s Cabinet will be providing four different tap beers including the return of the very limited collaborative Chef Series Beer – Cripple Creek Kiwi Pilsner! In addition, we will be making a wide variety of our pizzas, salads, charcuterie and small plates so you get to try a variety from our menu!
There will also be a separate “Cask Keg” donated by Brewers Cabinet to raise money for Millicent Hendrix for medical bills related to her fight against cystic fibrosis. www.millicentsfight.com

Strange Brew Festival!
This is a celebration of uniquely crafted brews from local breweries. Expect the unexpected! Most of the offerings from our local breweries will only be available at this festival. We’re talking about uncommon beer, in many cases specially crafted for this event. These brews will challenge your taste buds, your ideas of beers, and your sensibilities. Strange Brew will be complimented with live music from local bands and a tasty BBQ too. A truly different kind of brew festival for the beer geek in all of us!
